BI Data Analyst

Salary Range: $70000 $100000 per year

The BI Data Analyst is responsible for transforming data into insights that drive business value. Through the use of data analytics data visualization and data modeling techniques this role will turn data into critical information and knowledge that can be used to make sound business decisions.

• Design develop and maintain scalable business intelligence solutions.
• Collaborate with teams to integrate systems and streamline data flow to enhance data collection visualization and analysis capabilities.
• Conduct detailed data analysis including mining generation and visualization to identify trends and insights.
• Create dashboards and reports to effectively communicate trends patterns and predictions using relevant data.
• Work with management to prioritize business and information needs and identify new data requirements.
• Translate business needs into technical specifications to design comprehensive data analytics solutions.
• Evaluate and improve existing BI systems and collaborate with teams to integrate systems.
• Conduct troubleshooting on BI models.
• Generate and deliver quality reports to customers and performing quality assurance checks on reports.
• Stay current with industry trends and developments in BI technologies.

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Statistics Informatics Information Systems or another quantitative field.
• Proven experience as a BI Analyst Data Analyst or similar role with strong analytical skills and business acumen.
• Experience with BI tools (e.g. PowerBI Tableau) and data frameworks (e.g. Hadoop).
• Proficient in SQL and familiar with programming languages such as Python or R.
• Strong understanding of data warehouse design (e.g. dimensional modeling) and data mining.
• Knowledge of analytics and reporting tools necessary for evaluating large datasets.
• Excellent attention to detail for precise data analysis.
