Job Description
Customer is looking for a Project Manager who can lead the IAM team into a transformation where the team will include Active Directory/Azure Active Directory and Exchange under the teams management.
Customer is currently facing an exciting transformation where we will insource Active Directory/Azure AD [CJPP1] services currently outsourced to 3rd party vendors. The IAM team will be responsible for insourcing the Active Directory / Azure AD[CJPP2] into its control. As a Project Manager, you will be in charge of driving the AD insourcing activity, which also includes elements around AAD.
Today IAM team consists of senior and junior IAM developers and an IAM architect, but we are also expanding the team with AD/AAD skillsets to support the transformation.
The candidate will be expected to assume certain key responsibilities:
Assume project management of the AD/AAD insourcing
Communicate and coordinate with different departments, development teams, external service providers and other project stakeholders
Assist in setting up a new organization and ways of working for AD/AAD specialists
Identify relevant questions and risks early to mitigate issues in the project.
You have firm control of project resources, schedules and measures
You keep the big picture in mind and ensure that all the parts fit together at all times
Identify when our internal ways of working should be improved
Provide continuous status reporting of the project and having a risk-based approach to project planning
Come up with solutions to sort out problems, explain gaps (both up and down the organization) and come up with solutions together with the teams.
A successful candidate will have experience / knowledge of the following areas:
Project Management, Active Directory, Azure Active Directory
A proven track record of delivering successful projects
Having experience of Service Delivery insourcing/outsourcing
Having experience of IT infrastructure projects in large organizations with complex stakeholder structure
Experience tracking and monitoring project budgets, scope, schedule and risk.
Leading projects in at least one large organization that has undergone it s transformation to agile ways of working. The candidate should have good understanding of sprint- and PI-planning etc.
Location
Location is Stockholm, Sweden. Members of the team can continuously work remotely but are expected to be at the customer office on agreed basis, such as the Knowledge Transfer phase at the start of the assignment. Ideal candidate lives in the Stockholm region and can work at the office weekly (Wednesdays and Thursdays are currently required on-site working days for consultants), but will also be able to accommodate more presence at Arken as needed.
The assignment is 100%. Business travel is likely not required.
Time-plan
The assignment is expected to be at minimum 6 months with possible extension.
Knowledge transfer
The successful candidate will start with a knowledge handover from our team to familiarize themselves with the current environment, the requirements for the new one and stakeholder introductions.

As a person, you are a driven, self-motivated, problem-solving and communicative person who has experience from projects involving Active Directory, AAD and (as a bonus) IAM. You understand the importance of following established processes, especially Agile/SAFe, regarding development, review and documentation, but at the same time are not afraid to question or suggest possible improvements.
As a candidate to this assignment, you should have a related education and at least 10 years of experience working as Project manager or in similar roles. We prefer candidates who additionally display the meriting qualities listed below:
- Experience of IAM projects, as specialist or project manager
- Experience of AD/AAD projects as a specialist or project manager
- Knowledge/experience with Exchange
- Have PMP, IPMA, Scrum/SAFe or similar certification
- You are a communicative person, and inspire and motivate internal stakeholders as well collegues
