MAIN PURPOSE OF THIS ROLE:

BI/Azure Professionals have to lead all aspects of Business Intelligence with architecture design configuring BI services aggregating data from multiple sources into a data warehouse creating and deploying reports providing a solution and implementing projects while adhering to and applying best practices for SSRS/SSIS/SSAS tools.

THE JOB SPECIFICATION

• 4 years of integration experience with the Azure Platform (Azure Data Factory Azure Data Lake Azure Functions Logic Apps API Management Azure Synapse Databricks).
• 4 years of experience with enterpriseclass ETL/BI tools (Microsoft SQL/SSRS/SSIS/SSAS/PowerBI).
• Deep analytical experience and understanding of typical information technology processes.
• Experience with software testing report writing and database management.
• Experience with requirements gathering and documentation processes.
• Experience with Fetch XML a plus.
• Designing & developing dimensions hierarchies & cubes
• Develop calculated measures using MDX.
• Provides oversight and mentoring to the BI Development team.
• Achieves and maintains relevant technical competencies and helps to foster an environment of continuous growth and learning among colleagues on existing and emerging technologies.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS

• Manage and Architect BI solutions (portals dashboards standard and adhoc reporting) with a specific focus on data management and data warehouse architecture.
• Develop and Architect Azurebased Integrations and BI Solutions
• Provide technical direction and mentoring to a team of developers who develop and build solutions using our Enterprise Data tools (SSRS SSIS SQL Server Power BI)
• Ensuring team members are following best practices within the SDLC structure while overseeing planning and estimating project needs.
• Provide technical leadership on client projects and during the sales cycle.
