TPF Recruitment is representing one of our prestigious clients located in Steyning Sussex. Our client boasts a highly esteemed client base comprising highnet worth individuals SMEs and notforprofit organizations including Independent Schools.

Role Overview:

Join our team as a Trainee Auditor and embark on a fulfilling career journey with the opportunity to work towards a formal accountancy qualification. As an apprentice you will receive onthejob learning and structured training to equip you with the skills necessary for a successful career in accountancy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct audits as part of a team ensuring appropriate documentation is obtained to support the audit opinion
  • Accounts preparation
  • Analyze accounting data from clients books and records
  • Assist in the planning execution and finalization of audit assignments
  • Ensure compliance with internal and external regulatory requirements
  • Identify and understand client needs providing initial solutions and communicating these needs and solutions to the audit manager
  • Build strong relationships with clients
  • Perform ad hoc assignments as required
  • Regular travel to local and national clients


Requirements

Requirements:

  • Dynamic individual with a positive can do attitude
  • GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English (Grades 4 and above)
  • ALevels in Mathematics Business or Economics preferred
  • AAT or similar qualification desirable
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Logical approach and proficiency with numbers
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office with intermediate Excel skills
  • Own car and full driving license
