Assistant Consolidation Controller (Europe)
What You'll Enjoy Doing:

  • Supporting Group Consolidation: Assisting in the monthly, quarterly, and yearly consolidation processes to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data across the group.
  • Group Financial Statements: Playing a pivotal role in preparing the group financial statements, contributing to the accurate portrayal of the company's financial health.
  • Process Implementation and Controls: Implementing robust processes and controls to maintain the integrity of financial records, guaranteeing completeness and accuracy.
  • Working Papers Creation: Developing comprehensive working papers to substantiate the group financial statements, ensuring transparency and compliance.
  • Intercompany Reconciliations: Participating in intercompany reconciliations at a company-wide level, ensuring alignment and accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Collaboration with Country Finance Managers: Assisting and liaising with country finance managers to ensure adherence to established processes and controls.
  • Reporting Enhancement: Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to design, build, and improve the company's reporting systems.
  • Audit Support: Playing a key role in audits by providing necessary documentation and collaborating with external auditors to facilitate the process.
  • Ad-Hoc Projects: Engaging in ad-hoc projects aimed at enhancing the efficiency and accuracy of financial reporting processes.

Requirements:

To excel in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

  • CPA Certification: CPA qualification with a minimum of 4 years of accounting experience, preferably within SAAS, Tech, or Public companies.
  • Big 4 Experience: Advantageous experience in high-tech departments within Big 4 firms.
  • NetSuite Experience: Advantageous familiarity with NetSuite or similar ERP systems.
  • Multinational Company Experience: Prior experience working with multinational companies, understanding the complexities of global financial consolidation.
  • Systems Proficiency: Proficient in using various systems and MS Office applications to handle financial data and reporting.
  • Organizational Skills: Well-organized with high attention to detail, capable of prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities to navigate complex financial scenarios and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Team Player: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, adept at collaborating with cross-functional teams.
