• Lead the development of the British Council s Arts and Culture programming in Jordan, maximising our impact and growing the arts portfolio (by attracting investment from within the organization and from external partners and donors); ensuring that our programmes are relevant to the needs of the arts community in Jordan, delivering tangible impact relevant to the needs of Jordanian youth and society, and aligned to the priorities of the British Council globally, regionally and in-country.
• Develop and implement partnership and external relations strategies (maximizing the role of marketing and digital approaches) with a diverse range of stakeholders, partners and influencers in Jordan and UK.
• Play a leading role in the developing the country-level arts strategy, ensuring it is market-led and aligned with British Council global, regional and country planning frameworks.
• Mainstream equity, diversity and inclusion across all our Arts activities.
• Improve planning of our Arts Projects and increase the British Council s public profile in Jordan.
• Develop the British Council s identity as a cultural hub by maximizing the use of our premises in Rainbow Street.
