Job Summary
The AI Engineer is responsible for designing machine learning and deep learning algorithms based on client requirements, training, fine-tuning neural network models, and evaluating model performance.
You will optimize AI models using hardware accelerators, monitor IoT devices and AI health, and oversee image data collection for training and testing. Efficiency and compliance with automotive standards and coding practices are essential as well as optimizing models for real-time and resource-constrained applications.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
• Algorithm Development: Design and develop machine learning and deep learning algorithms that will be used in our products and based on our client’s requirements.
• Model Training: Train and fine-tune neural network models
• Model Evaluation: Evaluate the performance of AI models through metrics like accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-score, and ensure that the models meet desired criteria.
• Hardware Acceleration: Utilize hardware accelerators (e.g., GPUs, TPUs) to speed up the training and inference processes for deep learning models.
• Performance Tuning: Continuously monitor and improve the performance of deployed AI models, addressing issues like drift and degradation in accuracy.
• System Health Monitoring: Implement monitoring solutions to track IoT devices and AI health and collect and analyze data to detect issues proactively.
• Image Data Collection: Work with data acquisition teams and third parties to collect and label image data for training and testing purposes, ensuring data quality and diversity.
• Performance Optimization: Optimize AI models for speed, memory usage, and energy efficiency to make them practical for real-time or resource-constrained applications.
• Standards & Quality: Design, develop, and test electronic products while complying with automotive standards and best practices. Implement coding standards, automated testing, and industry-standard quality control measures in all implementations.
