Our client is a leading national private tertiary education institution. We are looking to recruit an experienced Sales and Marketing Manager to work from their Head Office in Pretoria to support the National Business Development Director and the CEO.
This is a key role, not only are we looking for a skilled Manager with a stable cv and good tenure, we are also looking for a candidate that believes in and contributes to, a harmonious, proactive and dynamic work environment.


The Purpose of the Position

  • To create long-term relationships with both internal & external clients.
  • Lead a team of sales representatives in setting and promoting sales goals.
  • Be the primary contact between the compnay and established school partner nationally.
  • Build reltionships with schools, create opportunities for school visits, presentations, data collection and marketing.
  • Create opportunities for additional teacher events, including training and a national principal seminar.
  • Be a creative and proactive problem solver and take ownerships until resolution has been sort.
  • Take responsibility for all aspects of the product sales and precesses nationally.
  • Act as a mentor and guide for sales employee.
  • Set monthly, quarterly and annual plans and goals to pormote and seel the products.
  • The Sales Manager will understand what motivates customers to buy and know how to tap into those needs.
  • Attend job fairs and business events in order to promote the insititution.
  • Gather competitor information and ensure clients stay loyal.

Responsibilities and Duties :

  • Business development and TEAM support
  • Monitor database and lead generation
  • Overall marketing and sales


Requirements

  • The Sales and Marketing Manager will be a natural leader, present professionally and be fluent in English and Afrikaans.
  • It is vital that this manager be influential, well prepared and a sounce of knowledge for the sales team.
  • Excellent communication skills is a necessity.
  • Min 5 years experience in a similar role.
  • Sales and Marketing qualification beneficial.
  • Experience in the academic or post secondary education preferred.
  • Tech savvy.
  • Good administration skills and eye for detail.
  • Self manage and be organised
  • Ability to collaborate between departments
  • Sound and solid sales track record
