AIMachine Learning Engineer - Voice Analysis in Cardiovascular Diseases

We are building a Machine Learning based Health Analytics platform that combines connected novel biomarkers smart algorithms and a web/mobile application for physicians and patients. Tasks

• Machine Learning Strategy: Develop and refine the machine learning strategy aligned with our companys vision and objectives. Identify opportunities to improve patient outcomes and drive business growth.
• Algorithm Development: Oversee the endtoend development of machine learning algorithms from data collection and preprocessing to model training evaluation and deployment. Ensure the scalability robustness and accuracy of the algorithms in realworld healthcare settings especially with regards to voice and speech analysis.
• Data Governance: Establish best practices for data collection annotation and storage to ensure data quality privacy and security. Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to access and integrate diverse data sources for model training and validation.
• Clinical Validation: Work closely with clinical experts and regulatory stakeholders to validate the efficacy and safety of machine learning algorithms in clinical trials and realworld healthcare environments.Research and Innovation: Stay abreast of the latest advancements in machine learning healthcare informatics and cardiology research. Identify opportunities for innovation and intellectual property development to maintain our competitive edge.

Requirements

• Educational Background: A PhD or masters degree in computer science engineering or a related field is preferred.
• Work Experience: Demonstrated experience of at least 12 years in machine learning in industry or academia. Proven track record of successfully developing and deploying machine learning models in healthcare or related domains.
• Leadership Skills: Strong leadership abilities with the ability to inspire and guide a team of machine learning professionals. Experience in recruiting mentoring and managing multidisciplinary teams to achieve common goals.
• Technical Expertise: Proficiency in Python and the machine learning tech stack (such as PyTorch TensorFlow etc.). Indepth knowledge of machine learning algorithms statistical modeling and data analysis techniques.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders. Fluency in English and German is preferred.
• Motivation and Ambition: Highly motivated and ambitious individual with a passion for leveraging machine learning to address realworld healthcare challenges. Proactive attitude towards learning and staying updated on the latest advancements in the field.
• ProblemSolving Abilities: Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to tackle complex challenges and drive innovative solutions.
• Team Collaboration: Ability to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams including product management engineering clinical operations and regulatory affairs to deliver impactful machine learning solutions.
