About the Client:

Job Summary:

As a Senior Accounts Payable Specialist, your responsibilities include budgeting, managing tax payments, and performing internal audits. Responsible for the financial, administrative, and clerical support of a company. In charge of making payments owed by the company to suppliers and other creditors, paying vendor invoices or bills, and recording the company's short-term debts. To be qualified for this role, you should have a degree in accounting and relevant work experience.


Responsibilities:
  • Accurately review, code, and process vendor invoices
  • Weekly Reconciliation and preparation of bill pay summary/ cash flow tracker
  • Perform data entry associated with accounts payable
  • Review and reconcile invoice discrepancies
  • Pay Bills on a weekly basis
  • Address and respond to vendor inquiries through the company s accounting e-mail address
  • Reconciliation of Vendor Payments to Purchase Orders and Invoices



Requirements

  • At least 5 years of proven work experience in Accounts Payable Position
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software (Xero, MYOB, Quickbooks, Netsuite, etc)
  • In-depth understanding of business bookkeeping procedures
  • Solid knowledge of accounting regulations/GAAP
  • Excellent math skills with attention to detail
  • Amazing Time-management abilities
  • Strong confidentiality is a must
  • BS degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field
  • Excellent English communication, both written and verbal
  • Must have Fiber Optic internet with at least 25 Mbps bandwidth
  • Must have a backup desktop or laptop with the latest OS
  • Must be able to work from 10PM-7AM
