Accounting Specialist

As an Accountant your mission is to maintain and constantly improve an inhouse accounting function. Your goal is to ensure highquality accounting and financial reporting. You will also take an active role in improvement projects within accounting and finance.

Responsibilities in the role as Accountant

The role involves managing the General Ledger overseeing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes and conducting thorough balance sheet reconciliations. The month and yearend close process and financial analysis are integral components of the position ensuring accuracy and clarity in financial reporting.

Furthermore the responsibilities extend to handling monthly VAT reporting setting standards and establishing streamlined processes regarding accounting. The role requires addressing various adhoc requests coming from both the Finance team and other Karma teams.

An essential aspect of the role also involves actively challenging existing processes and identifying opportunities for development.

Background and previous experience

• A university degree in finance or accounting

• 24 years experience working with accounting and monthend close processes

• Fluent in Swedish & English both spoken and written
