Job Description

For our client an international trust company based in Switzerland in Zurich we are looking for:

Deutschsprechender Germanspeaking Accountant or Trustofficer Accounting

The company is highly regarded as a provider of trust and corporate services for private clients entrepreneurs and family businesses. Furthermore the firms client base focuses on Real Estate Real Estate Investments Trading Funds Energy Holding Entities and Operating Entities among others. The firm operates as a leading international trust company with offices in key locations worldwide.

Tasks

Responsibilities

  • Independently support and handle a diverse client portfolio;
  • Independently support and advise clients (corporate and selfemployed) on business accounting tax and social security matters as well as extensive client communications;
  • Preparation of monthly quarterly and annual accounts for Swiss companies;
  • Preparation of VAT statements;
  • Management of financial and payroll records;
  • Preparation of tax returns for individuals and legal entities;
  • Preparation of minutes for board management and general meetings e.g. for approval of financial statements.
  • Accepting board and management mandates;
  • Performing company formations reorganizations and liquidations;
  • Processing payment orders in accordance with the principle of dual control;
  • Active involvement in maintaining and expanding client base;

Proactively supporting team members in all matters and nurturing open and good working relationships with them.

Requirements

You have/are

  • A basic commercial or business management education and further training in finance and fiduciary (fiduciary with a federal certificate and/or diploma as a fiduciary expert);
  • At least 35 years of working experience in the fiduciary sector or auditing;
  • Indepth knowledge of Swiss tax finance and accounting;
  • Strong affinity with IT and very good user skills in Abacus (FIBU and payroll program) and MS Office (especially Excel) experience with tax is an advantage;
  • High customer orientation social and communication skills;
  • Persuasive attitude empathy and negotiation skills;
  • Independent efficient and accurate way of working;
  • Resilient motivated personality who enjoys work;
  • Absolute team player;Stilsicheres Deutsch und Englisch in Wort und Schrift jede weitere Fremdsprache von Vorteil;
