Accountant

Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and examine financial records statements and other reports
• Ensure timely and accurate recording of all financial transactions
• Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
• Conduct regular financial analysis and provide insights for decisionmaking
• Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations
• Monitor internal controls to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data
• Assist with external audits and regulatory examinations
• Collaborate with other departments to provide financial guidance and support
• Utilize accounting software to maintain and analyze financial data
• Participate in the improvement of financial processes and procedures
• Contribute to the development of financial policies and procedures
• Prepare and maintain financial documentation and reports
• Stay updated on accounting principles regulations and industry trends
• Handle any other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field
• CPA or relevant professional certification is preferred
• Proven experience in accounting or financial management
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office especially Excel
• Strong understanding of financial regulations and reporting standards
• Excellent mathematical and analytical skills
• Ability to work with confidential information with integrity
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Detailoriented with strong organizational abilities
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively
• Knowledge of tax principles and regulations
• Experience in financial analysis and reporting
• Familiarity with auditing processes and principles
• Strong problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities
• Adaptability and willingness to learn and grow in the role
