A growing diamond and jewellery brand focused on premium retail experiences modern designs and trusted customer relationships. Company is actively expanding its retail footprint across India through the FOCO (Franchise Owned Company Operated) model & COCO (Company Owned Company Operated) model.

Job Summary

The Franchise Expansion Manager will be responsible for driving brand expansion through identification onboarding and development of new franchise partners under the FOCO model. The role will focus on market expansion store launch coordination franchise partner acquisition and ensuring smooth setup of new retail stores aligned with company standards.

This is an Individual Contributor role based out of Bangalore and requires a highly driven professional with strong experience in franchise expansion retail business development and luxury/jewellery retail operations.

Candidates from Jewellery Luxury Retail Fashion Lifestyle or similar retail industries will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Brand Expansion & Franchise Development

  • Drive expansion of the brand through FOCO franchise model across targeted cities and markets.

  • Identify potential franchise investors and business partners.

  • Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective franchisees.

  • Conduct franchise presentations business discussions and commercial negotiations.

  • Evaluate market potential competitor presence and expansion feasibility.

Store Opening & Project Coordination

  • Manage end-to-end coordination for opening of new franchise stores.

  • Coordinate with internal teams including design operations branding procurement and marketing.

  • Ensure timely completion of store setup activities as per brand standards.

  • Monitor store launch timelines readiness checklists and operational handover.

FOCO Model Management

  • Ensure franchise partners understand the FOCO business structure and operational expectations.

  • Support franchise investors during onboarding and agreement finalization.

  • Coordinate documentation and compliance requirements related to franchise onboarding.

Relationship Management

  • Build strong professional relationships with franchise partners and investors.

  • Act as a bridge between franchisees and internal departments.

  • Ensure smooth communication and resolution of business concerns.

Market Research & Business Strategy

  • Conduct market surveys for identifying high-potential retail locations.

  • Analyze market trends customer demographics and competitor activities.

  • Suggest expansion strategies and territory development plans.

Reporting & MIS

  • Maintain expansion tracker pipeline reports and store opening status reports.

  • Provide regular business updates and expansion MIS to management.

Desired Candidate Profile

Experience

  • 4–10 years of experience in Franchise Expansion Retail Business Development or Store Expansion.

  • Candidates from Jewellery Luxury Retail Fashion Apparel Lifestyle or similar industries preferred.

  • Experience in FOCO / Franchise retail expansion models will be highly preferred.

Educational Qualification

  • Graduate in Business Administration Marketing Retail Management or related field.

  • MBA preferred.

Required Skills

  • Excellent negotiation and relationship management abilities.

  • Good understanding of retail expansion and store opening processes.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills.

  • Ability to independently manage expansion activities.

  • Commercially driven and target-oriented mindset.

  • Proficiency in MS Excel PowerPoint CRM and reporting tools.
