Job Summary
As anIT Security Officer you will play a key role in strengthening the organizations cybersecurity posture. Your responsibilities will include implementing and monitoring security measures performing risk assessments managing vulnerabilities and ensuring compliance with industry standards. You will serve as the primary security point of contact for IT teams and ongoing projects providing the expertise necessary to ensure all application and system environments remain secure and compliant.
Core Responsibilities
Risk Assessment:Conduct security evaluations of applications systems and products; identify risks and provide actionable remediation recommendations.
Vulnerability Management:Analyze prioritize and track corrective actions in collaboration with IT teams.
Architecture & Design:Participate in security architecture reviews and evaluate security control configurations.
Compliance:Assist in achieving and maintaining compliance with security frameworks and standards (e.g. ISO 27001 NIS).
Audit & Testing:Coordinate penetration tests follow up on security audits and manage the resulting action plans.
Reporting:Provide regular status updates and security reports to key stakeholders.
Technical Analysis:Review technical documentation to assess and mitigate associated security risks.
Technical Skills
- In-depth knowledge of system application and product security.
- Proficiency in vulnerability management and remediation tracking.
- Strong familiarity with industry frameworks and standards:
- ISO 27001
- NIST
- OWASP
- MITRE ATT&CK
- Experience in reviewing security controls and recommending improvements.
- Proven ability to support audits and coordinate effectively with technical teams.
