The role / Te mahi

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated analyst to contribute to the Universitys strategic space planning and optimisation.

As part of the Property and Campus Development Division youll support the Strategic Space Programme with high-quality data analysis insightful reporting on the Universitys current and future space needs. Your work will directly influence smart evidence-based decisions around planning and investment decisions.

You will partner with teams across the University including Strategy Analytics Finance HR and IT to develop scenarios improve processes and enhance systems that support efficient and sustainable use of space.

As the go-to person for space data you will ensure a high level of service for stakeholders while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen how space is managed across the University.

We are seeking a candidate with strong analytical capability attention to detail and a collaborative approach.

You will bring:
Proven experience in data analysis reporting or business/process analysis.
Strong skills in data management including working with databases and generating insights from complex datasets.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly and effectively.
Experience working with stakeholders to gather data develop solutions and improve processes.
A tertiary qualification in a relevant field (e.g. commerce IT information management) or equivalent experience.

Experience in the tertiary sector or within a large complex organisation as well as knowledge of spatial planning or asset management concepts will be advantageous.

The Property & Campus Development Division is responsible for the Universitys built environment supporting over 4000 staff and 20000 students across multiple campuses. Delivering the right spaces to support teaching research and student experience is a complex and evolving challengeone where data and insights are critical to success.

This is a permanent full-time (37.5 hours) position located in Ōtepoti Dunedin.

The appointment range for this role is $75631 to $80503 per annum top of range is $88750 per annum.

You must have the right to live and work in New Zealand to apply for this position.
