Exempt Role

Reporting to: Director of Operations

Schedule: Monday-Friday 5pm-130am with flexible availability

Salary Range: $70000-$75000 annually SQCDM Bonus Eligible

Position Summary

The Account Manager oversees a janitorial team executing a high level of customer care for a client account located in North Scottsdale AZ. The Account Manager oversees all daily operations of the janitorial team and will ensure a safe and respectful work environment for all.

Key Responsibilities

Directs and manages key operational functions

Develops and maintains relationships of trust and engagement with on-site client

Ensures standards for service quality equipment safety and performance are maintained and that cost-effective resources are used to maximize service standards

Implement processes and structure in alignment with strategic initiatives and provide a clear sense of direction and focus

Develops monitors and reports on operating costs within functional areas. Alerts key stakeholder(s) of cost and labor over run. Makes recommendations and implements solutions.

Builds a culture of work safety and leads by example with ones own safe behavior

Hires trains develops and appraises staff effectively. Takes corrective action as necessary on a timely basis and in accordance with Company policy. Consults with Human Resources and Talent Acquisition as appropriate and needed.

Conducts regular operations staff / training meetings with all direct reports

Manages budget and controls expenses effectively

Uses Microsoft Office-based cost management system to audit budget for account which include: labor supplies leases and equipment

Skills and Qualifications

Understanding of budgeting labor and expense management with a basic understanding of financial and accounting practices

Demonstrated strong leadership team building and coaching as well as the ability to motivate people assess and develop employee skills

Leader with ability to inspire respect and trust and mobilize others to fulfill the vision- be a champion for your team

Highly motivated and results oriented

Education and Experience

5 years of leadership experience leading a complex and multi-site team. Janitorial distribution services or other service-related industry experience preferred

Demonstrated ability to provide leadership with responsibility for a decentralized and highly diverse workforce
