Job Summary

Scope

• The Senior Business Analyst-Accounting Solutions will monitor sources systems and related processes.
• The Analyst will build relationships and support the following areas in Accounting VPP Insurance.
• They will also support Lockbox Cash Control and Dealer Products.
• The senior business analyst performs validations and reconciliations of financial data and new system configurations to ensure the processing and accounting of financial and commercial transactions with various counterparties are completed without error.
• This person should be able to work independently with Product Accounting source systems partners as well as external vendors to validate and reconcile transactions.
• The person should have familiarity with basic accounting principles Insurance Earnings calculations system analysis scrum methodologies.
• This position will also support TFS Enterprise projects in the areas of process design configuration and compliance as it relates to core Accounting applications.

Essential Job Functions

• Accountabilities of Time Spent1. Administration configuration and monitoring of source systems which includes new entity setup accounting module configuration and the execution of month end close processes.
• Working with various business partners such as but not limited Product Accounting VPP Insurance.
• They will also support GAP VSAEWUTW Key replacement to advise on solutions for accounting and earning calculations that may include the use of source systems or custom application development.
• Maintain and provide appropriate configuration testing and approval documentation as part of the departments documented internal control structure.
• Perform application defect investigation and resolution related to transaction processing cash settlements and accounting processing within HOST IODS SGI.
