AIMS Companies is hiring an Accounting Manager to lead critical financial operations and strengthen our accounting infrastructure as we continue to scale nationwide. This role is ideal for a hands on leader who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys improving processes mentoring staff and ensuring financial accuracy across a multi location organization.

Pay: $120k/annual (pay is competitive and based on experience)

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily accounting operations including cash management financial reporting and month end close
• Review and approve journal entries account reconciliations and financial schedules
• Manage the fixed asset accounting function including additions disposals depreciation and reporting
• Oversee sales & use tax compliance ensuring accuracy and timely filings
• Lead ASC 842 lease accounting including schedules monthly entries and new lease evaluations
• Supervise weekly payroll reconciliations and postings
• Manage the corporate credit card program and spending analytics
• Drive system enhancements automation initiatives and accounting technology improvements
• Ensure adherence to GAAP internal controls and company policies
• Support annual audit and tax processes serving as a key liaison with external auditors
• Provide guidance mentorship and support to junior accounting staff

Ideal Candidate:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field
• 5 years of progressive accounting experience including leadership or supervisory responsibilities
• Strong understanding of GAAP and core accounting principles
• Expertise in fixed assets sales & use tax and ASC 842 lease accounting
• Advanced Excel skills (PivotTables VLOOKUPs data analysis)
• Strong analytical reconciliation and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
• Must pass pre employment drug screen and background check
• Experience with Sage Intacct or construction/industrial services is a plus
