Job Title: Business Systems Analyst -15 years Exp.

Location: Austin TX (Hybrid - Local candidates only)

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualification

Responsibilities & Required Experience:

• Review analyze and evaluate business systems workflows and user needs
• Formulate system solutions that align with overall business strategies
• Perform business process reengineering and identify technology solutions to improve business effectiveness
• Analyze raw data and provide data analysis to support business and technical decisions
• Gather and document business functional and technical requirements
• Act as a liaison between business units and IT teams including Architecture Project Delivery and Application Sustainment
• Participate in software development lifecycle activities including analysis design development support testing and implementation
• Participate in software development reviews and provide guidance to team members in analysis design and testing activities
• Perform and support unit testing system testing and user acceptance testing (UAT)
• Prepare solution options risk identification cost/benefit analysis ROI analysis and buy/build recommendations
• Develop detailed documentation of user needs program functions workflows and system enhancement requirements
• Collaborate closely with developers analysts CMS staff and stakeholders to understand application functionality enhancements and updates
• Develop and maintain user guides how-to documents reference manuals and instructional materials for internal applications
• Create and maintain screenshots visuals and step-by-step instructional aids to support end-user documentation
• Update documentation and training materials based on system enhancements and application changes
• Organize and present technical information in a clear concise and user-friendly format for non-technical audiences
• Ensure all documentation accurately reflects application functionality and current system behavior
• Participate in meetings walkthroughs demos and stakeholder discussions to gather system and enhancement information
• Support the development and maintenance of training documentation and end-user support materials
• Apply strong understanding of business analysis knowledge areas methodologies and best practices
• Utilize industry-standard business process mapping and reengineering techniques
• Plan prioritize and organize multiple assignments while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines
• Work independently on complex tasks with minimal supervision
• Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills with business users technical teams and leadership
• Translate technical concepts into plain language for business users and end-user communities
• Experience with project management methodologies and PMP knowledge is highly preferred
• Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies and enterprise application environments preferred
• Ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Skills:

• Experience creating user-focused technical or instructional documentation
• Experience developing screenshots visual aids and instructional content
• PMP certification or project management experience is a plus
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience supporting enterprise internal applications and system enhancements
