Role: Senior Financial Business Analyst
Duration: 12 Months
Location: Austin TX 78744 (This role requires onsite presence 4 5 days per week. Candidates must reside in the Austin area and be authorized to work in the U.S.)
Summary:
Use multiple tools and data sources in the financial analysis and forecasting of the clients IT Project Portfolio.
Review project demands and resource allocation plans for managed service providers as well as internal the client staff.
Prepare funds transfers and monitor federal funding reimbursements for eligible IT purchases.
Review IT purchase requests and monitor the daily activity related to operating and capital expenses.
Participate in the monthly reconciliation of the clients IT budget encumbrances and expenses.
Minimum Yrs of Experience Skills and Qualifications:
5 Financial analyses such as cost/benefit ROI buy/build etc.
5 Analyzing Financial Management Systems / Processes
5 Budgeting methods and procedures
5 Communicating and maintaining effective working relationships with others
5 Preparing and maintaining confidential and sensitive records files and reports
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
5 years Microsoft Office productivity tools (Word Excel SharePoint Teams)
Experience with PowerBI Python Tableau Power Platform or other data analytics and data visualization tools.
Experience with AI and Automation tools including Microsoft CoPilot Google Gemini Power Platform or similar solutions.
Experience with IT resource and staff planning including estimating workforce needs aligning resources to projects and core IT functions.
