About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Business Development Senior Lead to join our Business Development team within Cards and Personal Loans. This individual will support the team in the identification negotiation and execution of external partnerships in support of business priorities with a focus on delivering card product benefits and loyalty services.

In this role you will:
Conduct ongoing market and competitor research across the Cards and Personal Loans business areas to identify and evaluate business development opportunities
Partner with business leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to align partnership opportunities to business-defined priorities and strategies with a focus on delivering card product benefits and loyalty services
Develop clear compelling outreach and pitch materials to prospective partners and support partnership discussions
Support partnership structuring and negotiations including development of deal constructs and supporting financials
Coordinate hand-offs with internal stakeholders to support post-deal execution and ongoing partner management
Support governance risk and control activities related to partnership approval and execution
Required Qualifications:
7 years of Strategy and Planning experience or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience training military experience education
7 years of Business Development experience at a top-tier credit card issuer
Desired Qualifications:
Proven track record of supporting end-to-end business development efforts for card product benefits and loyalty services from prospecting to deal execution.
Strong understanding of credit card economics and the broader ecosystem of issuers networks fintechs and merchants.
Experience building financial models and business cases.
Job Expectations:
Ability to travel up to 10% of the time

Pay Range:
Wilmington DE- $175000 to 279000 annually
Other posted locations- $159000 to 254000 annually

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance skills experience or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.
