DYWIDAG-Systems International Construction Pty Limited supplies innovative products and systems for the Construction industry. We provide our customers with engineered and highly reliable systems for Post-Tensioning Geotechnical Applications Life Span Management and Concrete Accessories.
We now have an exciting opportunity available for a Production and Maintenance Coordinator to join our team based at our Cardiff site (Newcastle NSW).
ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Reporting directly to the Sales and Operations Manager the successful applicant will play a key role in the strategic monitoring and management of DYWIDAG factory assets to optimise efficiencies and drive productivity.
As an experienced and eager individual you will be responsible for overseeing the preventative maintenance schedule of DYWIDAG factory assets.
Key responsibilities include:
- Implement maintenance strategies to optimise efficiency and minimise downtime
- Coordinate preventative maintenance programs and routine inspections ensuring quality workmanship and compliance with safety and environmental standards
- Drive continuous improvement across work cells to achieve productivity and efficiency gains
- Lead a safety-first culture on the production floor including the compliance of mandatory and task specific PPE.
- Follow DYWIDAGs compliance requirements such as ISO accredited Quality Safety and Environmental integrated management system.
- Partner with the supply chain team to manage procurement inventory and continuity of critical parts.
- Provide hands-on operational support on the factory floor and coordinate maintenance priorities.
- Supervise maintenance staff and ensure safe and efficient delivery of works.
- Maintain asset records service history and compliance documentation
- Utilise ERP (Navision) to manage purchasing and inventory levels
This is a hands-on role where you will be required to be highly organised motivated and have a can do attitude. Being the go to person on the floor you will have exceptional teamwork and communication skills and the ability to collaborate and problem solve with management and employees.
This is a permanent Full-Time opportunity with an immediate start for the right candidate.

ABOUT YOU
With demonstrated experience working in a fast-paced environment you will possess:
- Previous experience in planning prioritisation and co-ordinating maintenance scheduling in a dynamic environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Relevant trade or specialised technical qualification and/or extensive experience in an industrial/factor environment.
- Knowledge of the LEAN methodology and efficiencies.
- Competence with Enterprise Resource Planning Solution (preferred)
