Experienced Floor Technician (Janitorial)

Job Skills / Requirements

The schedule for this position is Thurs-Mon 1pm-9:30pm

Days off are Tues & Wed.

This Position is on a Military Installation; the below criteria is a MUST!

MUST HAVE VALID DRIVERS LICENSE or ID.

MUST HAVE A BIRTH CERTIFICATE or PASSPORT

MUST HAVE A CLEAN BACKGROUND (NO FELONIES/NO MISDEMEANOR w/in Past 10 Years)

Essential duties:

*Perform all assigned tasks in a professional and timely manner.

*Must be able to strip/wax VCT tiles (attention to detail is critical)

*Must know how to burnish floors with a High Speed

*Must be able to extract and bonnet carpets

*Utilize the appropriate chemicals and supplies according to policy and procedure.

*May also be needed to support our janitorial program (other duties as assigned)

*Ability to work with little supervision.

*Reports safety hazards when identified.

*Observe safety precautions at all times uses safety signs.

Must be able to operate the following pieces of equipment;

Low speed Side by Side

High Speed Burnish

Carpet Extractor

Wet /Dry Vacuum

Drying Fan

Walk Behind scrubber

Ride on Scrubber

Must be able to verbally describe how to accomplish specific tasks when interviewed.
