Role Overview
A healthcare facility in Hartford CT is seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technician for a 90-day onsite contract assignment. This role supports vascular and neuro interventional procedures in a fast-paced clinical environment while providing high-quality patient care and technical imaging support.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with vascular and neuro interventional procedures
- Prepare examination rooms patients and imaging equipment
- Monitor patients and maintain patient safety throughout procedures
- Produce high-quality diagnostic imaging and maintain accurate documentation
- Support radiology equipment maintenance and supply organization
- Coordinate scheduling and assist with on-call coverage requirements
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology Technician experience
- Experience with both vascular and neuro interventional cases required
- ARRT certification required
- Valid Connecticut Department of Public Health (DPH) License required
- Current BLS and CPR certifications required
- Strong patient care communication and technical imaging skills
- Ability to work rotating call schedules and on-call weekends
Nice-to-Haves
- Previous traveler or contract healthcare experience
- Experience using EPIC EHR Synapse imaging software or Startrack systems
- Strong problem-solving skills in high-acuity environments
Compensation
- $72.07/hour
- 40 hours per week
- MondayFriday schedule
- On-call opportunities available
- 90-day contract assignment
Schedule
- MondayFriday
- 7:30 AM4:00 PM EST
- Rotating call schedule
- Every other weekend on-call
- Holiday call coverage if applicable
