Job Title: RN Pediatric ICU
Location: Syracuse NY
Type: Contract
Duration: 20 Weeks
Pay Rate:
Local Pay: Up to $2300 Weekly
Travel Pay: Up to $2600 Weekly (Stipend Included)
Shift: Nights 3x12 Every other weekend some holidays 36 Hours/Week

Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Pediatric ICU RN for an exciting Travel or Local job in Syracuse NY.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct high-acuity care to pediatric ICU patients
• Monitor and manage critically ill children in a trauma center setting
• Administer medications IV therapies and critical care interventions
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and ongoing monitoring
• Respond to emergent situations including code events
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary ICU team
• Document all care accurately using EMR (EPIC preferred)
• Educate and support families of critically ill pediatric patients
• Ensure compliance with ICU protocols safety and infection control standards

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of recent Pediatric ICU experience
• Experience in Level I or Level II Trauma Center
• Strong critical care and emergency response skills

Education:

• Associate or Bachelors Degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)

Licensure / Certification:

• Active New York State RN License & Primary Source Verification
• AHA BLS Certification required
