Removal Defense Attorney Fully Remote (Bilingual English/Spanish)
Were seeking an experienced U.S. Licensed Removal Defense Attorney to join our team to review cases and collaborate with paralegals on call-ups. Youll analyze case documentation conduct legal research draft filings and guide our paralegal team on case strategy. The ideal candidate has substantive removal defense experience and confident written and spoken Spanish since most of our clients are from Venezuela and across Latin America.
Were looking for an attorney who knows the courtroom but feels most at home in strategy and writing: building the case theory drafting strong written advocacy and helping a paralegal see why a particular argument matters. Youre meticulous and organized but you can shift gears without drama when a court development or a triage call comes in. You dont sweat the small stuff. Youre independent and proactive but youd rather be part of a team than off on your own because collaboration with clients and colleagues genuinely energizes you and you see mentoring our paralegals as part of the work not an interruption to it.
There are no billable hour requirements. As a fully remote position youll have the autonomy to work from your home base and structure your day around when you do your best work in collaboration with the team and within case deadlines. We understand that a meaningful legal career can take many forms and were looking for someone who wants to build a sustainable long-term practice with us.
