Location: This is a full-time hybrid position based in Clifton New Jersey with a convenient office location near major highways and flexibility for qualified candidates who can reliably commute to the office.

Note: Candidates must be actively licensed in New Jersey and have 2 years of estate planning experience including drafting estate planning documents and conducting client consultations. New York admission and WealthCounsel experience are strong pluses.

Job Description

• Lead client consultations and advise individuals and families on customized estate planning strategies.
• Draft review and oversee estate planning documents including wills trusts powers of attorney advance directives and related planning tools.
• Manage the client experience from initial consultation through drafting signing and follow-up.
• Help strengthen and systemize the estate planning practice through improved workflows SOPs and service delivery.
• Collaborate with attorneys paralegals support staff and leadership to ensure efficient high-quality legal work.
• Partner with the firms marketing and leadership teams to support practice growth client education and seminar-based business development.
• Mentor and support junior attorneys and staff as the estate planning department continues to expand.
• Stay current on estate planning tax elder law and asset protection developments to provide thoughtful legal guidance.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active New Jersey Bar admission required.
• 2 years of focused estate planning experience.
• Strong drafting experience with wills trusts powers of attorney and related estate planning documents.
• Experience conducting client consultations and explaining complex legal concepts clearly.
• Strong communication organization and client service skills.
• New York Bar admission is a plus.
• WealthCounsel experience is a plus.
• Must be able to commute to the Clifton NJ office as needed for a hybrid schedule.
