At Home Services for Independent Living Inc. is seeking a compassionate and reliable companion caregiver for an elderly couple in Port Jefferson NY. This is an ongoing part-time position beginning Friday May 23 2026.
Schedule:
Monday / Wednesday / Friday
9:00 AM 1:00 PM
$20 per hour
Primary responsibilities will focus on assisting the husband and may include:
Meal preparation
Verbal encouragement and support with non-medical physical therapy exercises
Possible grocery shopping/errands
Light household tasks
Companionship and general supervision
The ideal applicant will be kind dependable patient and encouraging with a calm demeanor. Prior companion care experience preferred.
