- Level B - $113841 to $134965 p.a. (plus 17% superannuation)
- Level C - $139182 to $160308 p.a. (plus 17% superannuation)

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Lecturer (Level B) or Senior Lecturer (Level C) in Social Work to join the School of Social Work and Arts within the Faculty of Arts and Education.
In this role you will contribute to the delivery of highquality undergraduate and postgraduate programs preparing students for professional practice in social work and human services. Teaching may span a range of practice areas including mental health ageing child and family practice and Australian Indigenous welfare.
Depending on appointment level and work function you will contribute through excellence in teaching curriculum and subject leadership research and scholarship supervision of higher degree research students and meaningful engagement with industry community and professional partners.
The Lecturer / Senior Lecturer in Social Work position will be offered with either a teaching focussed or teaching and research workload allocation aligned to expertise and career stage.
About you
You are a committed social work academic with a passion for studentcentred teaching professional practice and scholarship and you are motivated to make a positive impact within a regional university community.
You will bring:
- A doctoral qualification or equivalent (Masters plus professional experience) and AASW eligibility
- Experience delivering highquality studentcentred teaching in social work or human services
- A developing (Level B) or established (Level C) record of teaching and/ or research scholarship or professional practice
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with students and colleagues
- Commitment to inclusive culturally respectful and safe practice
- Demonstrated leadership in curriculum subject/course coordination or mentoring (Level C)
