IT Applications Associate JHB

Our client is seeking an experienced IT Applications associate to join their growing team. The purpose of the role is to design an information system solution in line with specifications given by business implementing software and taking it live to users offering support services for users coaching users within the business and meeting with users remotely and on-site.

In order to be considered for this role you must meet the following requirements:

• Matric

• Post Matric IT Certificate or National Diploma /Degree.

• Microsoft Power Platform certifications advantageous

• Minimum 3 years experience working with Microsoft Power Platform including Power Apps
  (Canvas and/or Model-Driven) Power Automate and Power BI.

• Experience working with Microsoft Dataverse including data modelling relationships and
  security.

• Microsoft SQL Server experience required including querying views stored procedures and
  data integration.

• Experience integrating Power Platform solutions with external systems via APIs connectors or
  middleware.

• Working experience with the following Microsoft platforms will be advantageous:
  Microsoft Dynamics 365
  Customer Service
  Field Service
  Microsoft SharePoint / SharePoint Online

• Experience with data analytics and reporting including development of Power BI dashboards
  and data models.

• Practical experience across the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) including requirements
  gathering design development testing deployment and support will be advantageous.

• Experience with Microsoft Fabric Azure data services or modern data platforms will be
  advantageous.

• Experience implementing workflow automation and business process digitization within
  enterprise environments will be advantageous.

• Experience with application lifecycle management (ALM) for Power Platform solutions will be
  advantageous

• Technical or programming experience (e.g. APIs or ERP system extensions)
  will be advantageous.

Power Platform Development

• Microsoft Power Apps (Canvas Apps and Model-Driven Apps) design and development
• Power Automate workflow and process automation (cloud flows approvals integrations)
• Microsoft Dataverse data modelling relationships business rules and security

Data Integration &Automation

• Integration between Power Platform and external systems via APIs and connectors
• Data integration using Power Automate Azure services and custom connectors
• Data transformation validation and synchronization between systems
• Event-driven and scheduled automation patterns

Data &Analytics

• Data modelling and data governance within Dataverse
• Integration with Power BI for operational and analytical reporting
• Understanding of data pipelines data quality and data transformation principles

Business Process Automation

• Digitalization and automation of business processes across departments
