Summary
The Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) Coordinator I is an individual contributor responsible for managing inventory delivery stocking and replenishment at designated customer sites. This role supports inventory operations by handling the storage distribution and fulfillment of merchandise materials supplies and equipment. Responsibilities include filling vending machines delivering VMI items to point-of-use (POU) areas scanning and tracking inventory and verifying goods against purchase orders or invoices.
The coordinator also transports company materials to customer locations while following established VMI processes and safety procedures. Proper use and maintenance of equipment is required including ensuring equipment remains clean safe and operational with any concerns promptly reported to management.
This position requires the ability to lift up to approximately 30 lbs and occasionally access second-floor storage areas using stairs or elevators. Work hours are flexible between 7:00 AM 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM 5:00 PM but consistency in schedule is expected. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity offering a pay rate of $19/hour on W2.
