Job Summary

Job Title: Java Developer - Hybrid

Duration (Contract): 12 Months

Location Preference: Hybrid

Job Description:
As a Java Developer you will design develop and maintain scalable high performance enterprise applications using modern Java-based technologies. You will work across the full software development lifecycle collaborating with architects product owners and cross functional teams to deliver reliable secure and maintainable solutions in a fast paced Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Design develop and maintain full stack applications using Java and modern front end frameworks.
Build scalable secure and high availability systems using microservices architecture.
Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and enterprise service interfaces.
Create responsive and user friendly UI components using modern web technologies.
Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and development activities.
Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Implement DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines containerization and automated testing.
Identify reusable components and improve application maintainability and scalability.
Mentor team members and support knowledge transfer activities.

Required Skills Experiences Education and Competencies:

10 years of experience in enterprise software development using Java.
Strong proficiency in Java Spring Spring Boot Hibernate/JPA and Oracle databases.
Experience building front end applications using Angular or React with JavaScript/TypeScript.
Hands on experience with microservices Docker and Kubernetes or OpenShift.
Strong knowledge of REST APIs integration patterns and secure application design.
Experience with authentication protocols such as OAuth 2.0 SAML OpenID Connect and JWT.
Expertise in Core Java concepts including multithreading concurrency and JVM tuning.
Experience with relational and NoSQL databases and messaging systems.
Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Git Jenkins Maven and CI/CD pipelines.
Strong analytical problem solving and communication skills.

The hourly range for roles of this nature are $40.00 to $80.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills experience location and industry.
