Pay Rate: $70-$80/hr. on W2 (Depending upon the experience)

In this contingent resource assignment candidate may:
- Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Software Engineering.
- Review and analyze complex multi-faceted larger scale or longer-term Software Engineering challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors including intangibles or unprecedented factors.
- Contribute to the resolution of complex and multi-faceted situations requiring solid understanding of the function policies procedures and compliance requirements that meet deliverables.

- The Trade Surveillance Software Engineering role is responsible for contributing to the technology planning development delivery and embedding of a new third-party Trade Surveillance solution across the US and EMEA regions.
- The successful candidate will leverage deep software engineering expertise alongside strong knowledge of international regulations (e.g. MAD/MAR) and the capital markets regulatory environment.
- This role requires broad experience in full software development lifecycle delivery including the implementation and integration of third-party and cloud-hosted platforms.
- The engineer will work on both:
- strategic platform initiatives
- tactical enhancements to existing surveillance systems
- modernization and rationalization of the overall surveillance technology estate
- There may also be opportunities to contribute across other surveillance and financial crime technology solutions.
- The position sits within a global Engineering team partnering closely with local Compliance stakeholders and a broader technology organization primarily based in the US.
- The candidate will participate in vendor management activities and collaborate with vendor engineering teams located in the US and UK.
- While the initial scope is focused on EMEA deployment the solution is global in nature; therefore the role requires understanding and incorporating:

The engineer will be responsible for ensuring all development and integration activities comply with company standards related to:
