As a Locum Psychiatry professional you will be involved in diagnosing and treating mental health disorders working collaboratively with a diverse team of healthcare providers. This role is essential to ensuring our patients receive comprehensive care tailored to their needs.
Responsibilities
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Provide psychotherapy and medication management
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment as necessary
- Participate in case consultations and team meetings
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records
- Stay informed about the latest developments in psychiatric practices
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Valid medical license to practice in Illinois
- Board certification or eligibility in Psychiatry
- Experience in psychiatric evaluation and treatment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Commitment to patient-centered care
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Schedule: 24-Hour off-site call coverage every other weekend
- Setting: Multiple facility locations
- Patient Population: Adults 18
- EMR: Epic
- Must be board-certified
- Paid travel & expenses included
