As a Locum MD in Radiology you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality imaging services and ensuring accurate diagnoses for our patients. You will collaborate with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals contributing to various projects aimed at enhancing patient care and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures including X-rays CT scans and MRIs
- Interpret and analyze imaging results to provide accurate diagnoses
- Collaborate with referring physicians to discuss imaging findings and treatment plans
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to optimize patient care
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and standards
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in radiology technology and practices
- Provide training and support to junior staff as needed
Requirements
- Medical degree (MD) with a specialization in Radiology
- Associate level experience in a clinical radiology setting
- Strong proficiency in interpreting various imaging modalities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient care
- Knowledge of current radiology practices and technologies
- Active medical license in the state of practice
- Schedule: 7a-3p 3p-11p
- RVUs: 60 per day
- Caseload: XR CT MRI ultrasound nucmed
- PACS: ERad
- Dictation: Fluency/M-Modal
- Must be board-certified
- Paid travel & expenses
