Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and physical examinations
- Diagnose and manage a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients
- Provide patient education and counseling on health maintenance and disease prevention
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care
- Document patient encounters accurately and timely in electronic medical records
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient care audits
- Stay current with medical best practices and advancements in internal medicine
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Active medical license to practice in the state of Arizona
- Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine
- Strong clinical skills with a focus on primary care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care
- Experience with electronic medical record systems is preferred
- Schedule: Monday-Friday 8a-5p
- No call shifts
- Patient Census: 18-20 per day
- Patient Population: 75% adult 25% geriatric
- Must be board-certified
- Paid travel & expenses
