Mission

The Project Development Manager will collaborate to drive the development of renewable energy projects in Thailand from early-stage identification through to financial close. The primary mission is to ensure and oversee that all project development activities including land acquisition permitting stakeholder management and financial evaluation are executed effectively in line with Accionas standards and Thailands renewable energy regulations.

The posoition reports to the Head of Business Development Thailand and COO Southeast Asia

Main responsibilities

Project Development

• Supervise and support project development activities to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.

• Coordinate and drive collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to deliver project documentation permits and technical studies.

• Oversee Site Coordinators in land acquisition surveys and stakeholder engagement.

• Track and control project progress timelines and budgets from origination through to construction readiness.

• Review land-related agreements and documentation to ensure alignment with project design and strategy.

Stakeholder and Community Engagement

• Represent the company and participate in consultations and meetings with landowners local communities and government authorities.

• Support engagement to strengthen relationships with regulatory bodies and ministries to secure project approvals and align with policy requirements.

Financial and Strategic Analysis

• Lead financial and risk analyses to support feasibility assessments and investment decisions.

• Develop and present business cases project proposals and annual planning inputs.

• Provide strategic insights and recommendations to support business growth and portfolio diversification.

Cross-functional Coordination

• Lead coordination with engineering legal environmental and permitting teams to ensure alignment and compliance across all project phases.

• Oversee and ensure smooth project handover to construction upon completion of development milestones.

• Prepare and deliver high-quality reports presentations and briefings for top management and other stakeholders.

Other Responsibilities

• Conduct site visits and due diligence activities as required.

• Experience in the Energy sector of at least 5 years

• Experience in business development and project management of at least 10 years

• Experience in working in a multinational company

• Fluent in Thai English and Spanish

• Open to frequent travel to project / development sites in Thailand
