About the Project
HumeLink is a major transmission project that will strengthen the NSW electricity network. The East section delivers new transmission lines and infrastructure to support reliable power flow across the state. The project includes complex approvals stakeholder interfaces and works across diverse environments. ACCIONA plays a key role in delivering safe sustainable outcomes.
About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Travel Coordinator to manage complex high-volume travel logistics for our blue-collar workforce across domestic and international projects. This role is critical in ensuring the safe efficient and compliant movement of employees to and from job sites including remote and overseas locations.
Youll play a key leadership role in coordinating travel for field teams trade workers and project staffoften under tight timelines.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate high-volume domestic and international travel for blue-collar and site-based personnel (FIFO/DIDO and offshore workforces)
Manage end-to-end travel logistics: flights accommodation ground transport charter travel and site transfers
Ensure compliance with company travel policies site requirements and client expectations
Liaise with project managers HR and operations teams to align workforce mobilisation plans
Build and manage relationships with travel providers charter services and accommodation partners
Monitor travel costs and identify efficiencies while maintaining service quality
Maintain accurate travel records and generate reporting on workforce movements and spend
Required Skills and Competencies
5 years experience in travel coordination ideally in construction mining energy or industrial sectors
Proven experience coordinating travel for large blue-collar or site-based workforces
Experience managing complex logistics in remote or high-risk environments
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced high-pressure environment with changing priorities
Exceptional organisational and problem-solving skills
Strong stakeholder communication skills across all levels from site workers to senior management
