The franchisee is a separate company and a separate employer from Marriott International Inc. The franchisee solely controls all aspects of the hotels employment policies and practices including hiring firing discipline staffing compensation benefits and all other terms and conditions of employment. If you accept a position at this hotel you will be employed by a franchisee and not by Marriott International Inc.

For our renowned luxury hotel in the heart of Berlin we are seeking a passionate and entrepreneurial-minded Executive Chef (m/f/d) with strong leadership skills and a spirit of innovation to start in August 2026.

Your Responsibilities

As Executive Chef (m/f/d) you will have overall responsibility for the culinary direction and operational management of the following areas:

Event area for 10600 guests

Breakfast

À-la-carte restaurant

Stewarding

You will lead motivate and develop a kitchen team (15 employees and 6 trainees) and ensure smooth operations at the highest quality standards.

Your Responsibilities

Overall operational and strategic management of the kitchen areas

Analysis and optimization of all processes with regard to cost-effectiveness efficiency and staff planning

Development of modern innovative food concepts and new menu ideas

Close collaboration with the F&B Manager sales and event teams

You will create a kitchen that combines efficiency team spirit and excellence

Job Requirements:

Culinary training experience in the upscale hospitality industry ideally coming from a second-line management role as the next step in your career

Experience managing teams across multiple locations

Strong cost awareness

High level of innovation and a keen sense of modern culinary trends

Structured analytical and solution-oriented approach to work

Ability to work under pressure organizational skills and a hands-on mentality

Very good German and English language skills

International experience is a plus
