As a Materials Manager you will lead the implementation governance and continuous improvement of the S&OP process. You will work closely with supply chain regional planners sales service delivery and product line teams to ensure accurate forecasting aligned demand and supply signals and effective decisionmaking across the business. You will manage the S&OP and forecasting team ensuring strong capability development and performance.

As a Materials Manager you will be responsible for:

Implementing the S&OP process and ensuring compliance with HQ governance including S&OP outputs datasets KPIs and action tracking

Working with supply chain teams on medium to longterm supply planning and executing strategy deliverables

Communicating with regional and product line planners to understand business trends opportunities and demand forecasts

Working with regional sales and service delivery teams to create a 1218month regional forecast

Aggregating regional forecasts into a global product line forecast

Netting regional demand plans against inventory to create a netted demand plan

Netting regional demand plans against regional supply plans

Working with operations to locate existing inventory or identify substitutions for open orders

Scheduling and leading monthly S&OP calls

Developing and prioritizing continuous improvement projects to maximize S&OP value

Ensuring demand supply and other signals are aligned and communicated to end users

Ensuring product lifecycle management for new and obsolete products is incorporated into the S&OP process

Ensuring MTS MTO CTO and ETO standards are defined and implemented within S&OP

Managing the S&OP and forecasting team including training development and career progression

To be successful in this role you will:

Have a bachelors degree in supply chain management or a related field

Have 5 years of experience in supply chain or finance

Have 3 years of experience managing people or teams directly

Have experience in S&OP forecasting inventory optimization and asset management

Have knowledge of SAP

Be willing and able to work in the office as needed

Be able to work with and influence stakeholders

Bring strategic thinking with strong tactical execution and a sense of urgency

Have experience managing and developing teams

Preferred qualifications:

APICS certification

People leadership experience (direct matrix or influencebased) with demonstrated leadership capabilities
