Job Summary
The Regional Operations Manager leads multiple branches to ensure operational excellence safety and customer satisfaction. This role supports and develops Branch Managers identifies process improvements and oversees key functions including cost control sales service training and inventory management. Regular engagement through visits audits and meetings ensures alignment with company standards.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
Provides prompt effective customer service through timely communication resolution and follow-up
Maintains ethical professional relationships with customers vendors and internal teams
Fosters cross-functional collaboration to resolve issues with a solution-focused mindset
Leads by example upholding professionalism ethics and company policies
Conducts regular check-ins to provide coaching feedback and goal alignment
Recognizes employee achievements and addresses issues in collaboration with HR
Collaborates with leadership to achieve branch performance safety and operational goals
Oversees P&L cost control compliance and continuous improvement initiatives
Leads performance reviews facility logistics and fleet safety management
Supports training policy execution and recommends operational enhancements
Demonstrates flexibility and initiative including travel as required
Oversees branch staffing practices and ensures compliance with company policies
Manages employee relations investigations and partners with HR on complex matters
Guides branch leaders in employee development communication and team building
Supports talent planning compliance initiatives and participates in unemployment hearings
Safety-sensitive role requiring constant alertness and adherence to safe work practices
Maintains proficiency in company systems for administrative tasks such as data entry messaging call logs and workflow updates
Performs additional duties as assigned with flexibility to adapt to changing business needs and responsibilities
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Business Operations Management Supply Chain or a related field or equivalent relevant work experience
8 years of experience in business operations warehousing supply chain or logistics
3 years of proven success in multi-unit leadership with strong performance metrics
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook)
Skilled in using office technology including virtual meeting platforms computers scanners and phone systems
Preferred Qualifications
10 years of experience in business operations warehousing supply chain logistics or related fields; appliance industry experience is a plus.
5 years of multi-unit leadership experience with a proven track record of achieving performance metrics.
Physical Demands & Work Environment
This position typically requires 4050 hours per week and involves routine office-related physical activity including:
Regular bending and lifting or carrying items up to 10 lbs.
Extended use of hands and arms for computer-based tasks and office equipment.
Prolonged periods of sitting with intermittent standing and walking throughout the day.
Frequent communication via phone and in-person requiring consistent use of hearing and speech (up to 6 hours daily).
Daily operation of office equipment such as computers phones and scanners (up to 8 hours).
