Job Summary
What Sales Support Administration contributes to Cardinal Health
Sales Support is responsible for providing sales support through direct involvement in the sales process either by helping persuade customer buying decisions or involvement in the effective implementation of solutions to support the attainment of the organizations sales objectives.
Sales Support Administration is responsible for Supplier maintenance and support sales quotas and/or order fulfillment and adjustments.
Job Summary
The Spec Sales Support Admin provides support to Sales Representatives in the field to allow them to devote more time to closing addition to supporting Sales Representatives the Spec Sales Support Admin helps drive revenue by leveraging data analytics to identify potential opportunities for growth and ensuring Cardinal Health is not vulnerable to losing business.
Responsibilities
- Manage several Certified or Non-Certified Suppliers for Optifreight Logistics and convert outreach opportunities to OFL managed volume through increased supplier participation.
- Work Salesforce cases from within the Supplier Team and other cross functional groups.
- Update supplier profiles and assist with disengagement efforts.
- All other tasks as needed
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience preferred
- Bachelors degree in related field or equivalent work experience preferred
- Prior experience with Customer/Sales/Supplier Account Management is highly preferred.

- Proven ability to engage and manage suppliers through competent oral and spoken communication skills.
- Comfortable working with several stakeholders and cross functional groups.
- Employ creativity and critical thinking to address various supplier issues.
- Intermediate MS Office (Word Excel PPT) skills.
- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Works well under direct supervision and receives detailed instructions.
- Develops competence by performing structured work assignments.
