Full-Time Cook – Private School (Cafeteria, Boarding & Catering Support)

As a Full-Time Cook in a prestigious local private school you will work under the direction of the Executive Chef supporting a diverse food service program that includes cafeteria service two small boarding houses catering and special events and daily lunch delivery operations.

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY

• Prepare cook and serve meals for cafeteria boarding programs and catered events following established recipes and menus.
• Support daily lunch delivery operations ensuring meals are packaged and delivered accurately and on time.
• Use a variety of cooking methods such as roasting grilling steaming poaching boiling and baking.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness sanitation and organization.
• Follow all FoodSafe/ServeSafe and health & safety protocols.
• Assist with inventory management and FIFO rotation.
• Provide professional service and build positive relationships with students and staff.

Qualifications :

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR
    Minimum 3 years of experience in a cook role.
    FoodSafe or ServeSafe certification.
    Experience with international cuisine and dietary needs.
    Self-driven reliable and professional.
    Strong teamwork and communication skills.
    Valid drivers license and ability to pass a background check.
