Job Summary
- To prepare all breakfast bakeries/pastries fresh daily for Banquets ARC Restaurant and In-Room Dining
- Order and organize breads rolls and related baking items for Banquets ARC Restaurant and In-Room Dining
- Assist in the Banquet Kitchen as and when needed
- Ensuring high quality and consistency of food preparation and presentation as per Fairmont brand standards
- Responding positively and in a timely manner to all internal and external guest requests
- Responsible for a clean workstation and the minimization of wastage
- Completion of all tasks as assigned
- To be Health & Safety conscious and actively involved in maintaining a safe work environment
Qualifications :
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a baker/pastry cook
- BC Food Safe Certification required
- Red Seal Certification preferred
- Flexibility with shifts and ability to work the overnight shift
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High standards of cleanliness required
- Reliable accountable organized
- Ability to exceed guests expectations
