Account Manager , Amazon Shipping

Amazon is innovating in the Operations and Logistics space and looking for a driven entrepreneurial and analytical Associate Account Manager for the UK. We are looking for an Account Manager who will be excited by working in a new start-up environment and will have familiarity with B2B sales and account management for Medium up to Large level customers.

The successful Account Manager will be comfortable navigating ambiguity and operating in a start-up environment. You will have experience developing relationships across a diverse customer base drive commercial growth for the business and work effectively with functional areas such as Business Operations Procurement Finance and IT; and have a proven track record of meeting and exceeding program goals and revenue targets.
This role will be based in London with possible moderate travel (maximum 25%)

Key job responsibilities
Own strategy and commercial growth of our customers
Drive revenue adoption and market segment share for our product
Earn trust of customers (shippers) and recommend product solutions that fit their business needs meeting and exceeding targets for customer revenue and/or feature adoption
Measure performance articulate root-cause analysis and link to specific improvement areas
Relay market segment needs and requirements back to internal Amazon teams
Analyse current purchasing processes and evaluate opportunities for solutions to improve end user experiences reduce costs and accelerate organization performance
Drive and accelerate spend adoption through advising customers on best practices for using our product
Assess program risks anticipate challenges and provide escalation management when necessary


- Bachelors degree or equivalent
- Experience working with Data & AI related technologies including but not limited to AI/ML GenAI Analytics Database and/or Storage
- Experience in business development partner development sales Go-To-Market etc
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements and to influence senior stakeholders

- Experience in online advertising or high-tech products/services
- Experience solving problems with technology within multiple industries.
- Experience working with Core Cloud Technology Services including but not limited to Compute Edge Hybrid Security and/or Networking
- Experience working with Business Application Technologies including but not limited to End User Compute (EUC) Supply Chain Contact Center as a Service Consumer Data Applications Encrypted Communications and/or Communication Developer Services
- Experience working with Advanced Compute technologies including but not limited to: Accelerated Compute High Performance Compute Visual/Spatial Compute and/or IoT.
- Experience working with Enterprise Application Modernization and Migration technologies including but not limited to Mainframe Serverless Containers or Cloud Operations
