We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our team with a strong focus on automation scalability reliability and platform security.

RESPONSABILITIES

Manage evolve and optimize Cloud and SaaS environments (Azure GCP CloudAMQP MongoDB Atlas) as well as Kubernetes environments and on-premises services.
Design implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for applications and services.
Implement and maintain GitOps practices for infrastructure and application management.
Administer and enhance the GitLab platform (SCM CI/CD runners registry and permissions).
Ensure system high availability scalability and performance.
Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment testing and observability practices.
Implement and maintain security best practices including access management secrets management and compliance.
Monitor systems applications and pipelines proactively addressing incidents.
Document architectures processes and operational procedures.
Support the definition and evolution of the platforms technical architecture.

QUALIFICATIONS

Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix and scripting (Bash Python PowerShell).
Experience with Cloud Computing platforms (Azure GCP or AWS).
Experience with version control systems (SCM / Git).
Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (GitLab CI GitHub Actions Jenkins Azure DevOps or similar).
Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker Kubernetes).
Knowledge of monitoring logging and OpenTelemetry tools (Prometheus Grafana Loki Tempo ELK/EFK Datadog etc.).
Understanding of DNS management/deployment load balancing proxies gateways and certificates.
Knowledge of load testing tools ( JMeter).
Basic knowledge of relational (PostgreSQL/SQL) and non-relational databases (MongoDB).
Basic networking and security knowledge.
Fluent in English both written and spoken.
Availability to work in a hybrid model (2-3 days a week at the Lisbon office).
