Hybrid/Local TX Govt Full Stack Java Developer (15) with OOP SQL RESTful/web services/Spring platform JUnit Angular UI Crystal Reports PowerBI experience

Location: Austin TX (HHSC)
Duration: 2 Months
Position will be 3 days remote with 2 days (Mon & Tues) required to be onsite at the location listed above. Program will only allow candidates who are LOCAL TO THE AUSTIN AREA ONLY (Within 50-mile radius). **Subject to change per the hiring team**
Please do not submit candidates who are currently out of state and are planning to move to Texas. Candidates must already reside in Texas and local to Austin Area only.

Skills:
8 Required Experience in Object Oriented Programming (OOP) in Java programming language
8 Required Experience in applications development on J2EE platform
8 Required Experience in writing SQL for relational databases
8 Required Experience in RESTful web services on Spring platform
8 Required Experience working on Spring Aspect Oriented Programming like transaction management and security
8 Required Experience in RESTful web services on Spring platform
8 Required Experience with JUnit and Unit Test development Preferred
4 Preferred Experience with Angular UI Framework
4 Preferred Experience with Crystal Reports

Description:
The Department of Information Resources (DIR) requires the services of 5 Software Engineer 3 hereafter referred to as Worker who meets the general qualification of Software Engineer 3 and the specifications outlined in this document for the above-named customer.

Develops software solutions by studying information needs conferring with users and studying systems flow data usage and work processes. Investigates problem areas. Prepares and installs solutions by determining and designing system specifications standards and programming.

This contractor role is for a Senior Java Developer and the position will work on the SCOR BAU EI parallel initiative. This role will be responsible for making updates to the SCOR Java. Updates include changes to business logic updates to the user interface and business logic as well as extending reporting capabilities and the system data model. Supports application enhancements and defect corrections in maintenance mode. Supports applications in multiple environments with coding testing peer reviews documentation defect root cause analysis and troubleshooting as required. Maintaining code coverage testing and security policies and procedures is required. Available for on-call support as needed. Other duties as assigned and required by the unit operations.
