Responsibilities:
Install configure and maintain Linux servers (RHEL CentOS Ubuntu SUSE).
Perform system monitoring performance tuning and capacity planning.
Handle incident problem and change management activities.
Ensure system availability reliability and security.
Apply patches and upgrades to operating systems and system components.
Troubleshoot system network filesystem and application issues.
Manage user access file systems permissions and security policies.
Work closely with application database network and cloud teams.
Automate repetitive tasks using shell scripting and Python.
Maintain system documentation SOPs and runbooks.
