Job Summary
Job Summary (DHH Classroom Teacher Hampshire IL: August 2026 May 2027)
- Full-time position teaching deaf and hard-of-hearing (DHH) students in a classroom setting.
- Contract dates: Orientation on 8/3/26; school year runs from 8/11/26 to 5/21/27.
- Requires a Professional Educator s License (PEL) with appropriate DHH endorsement.
- Must be proficient with school-based technology and fluent in American Sign Language (ASL).
- Provide direct specialized instruction and interventions per student IEPs.
- Collaborate regularly with teachers administrators and specialists to support student academic/social development.
- Maintain accurate documentation of services assessments and interventions in compliance with IEP/state requirements.
- Actively participate in IEP meetings advising on accommodations assistive technology and instructional modifications.
- Receive benefits including weekly pay medical/dental/vision/pet insurance from day 1 family planning and life insurance options license/CEU reimbursement and 24/7 support.
- Eligible for referral bonuses and additional support through the agency s resources.
